UK digital marketing blogs worth a look
Finding influential US digital marketing bloggers is relatively easy, partly because most of the popular digital marketing news sites are US based and link to US bloggers who link to one another. So, as finding UK based bloggers takes a little more effort, I thought I would post a list (in no particular order) of interesting UK blogs that I have recently come across.
Modern Marketing. Blog by Collaborative Marketing Services
Social Media Marketing. Tom Chapman is a social media strategist for Headstream.
Spreading Jam. Blog from i-level’s social media unit.
Stuartbruce.biz. Stuart is co-founder and managing director of Wolfstar, a specialist public relations, social media and word of mouth marketing and communications consultancy.
Dave Chaffey’s Right Touching Blog. Dave has written several books on internet marketing and provides consultancy and training services.
Econsultancy.com blog. Econsultancy is a digital marketing community providing events, advice and reports.
Sam Michel’s Blog. Sam Michel is the founder of Chinwag, a community for digital marketing practitioners in the UK.
Steph Gray. Steph works in digital engagement in central government.
Immediate Future. Immediate Future is a digital PR agency. I especially liked their post about bit.ly.
Organ Grinder. The Guardian’s blog on TV, digital media and new media.
Chris Garrett. Chris is a professional blogger, internet marketing consultant, speaker and trainer. He also writes for several company blogs. I’ve been reading his blog for over a year and find it very useful and informative.
Brandwatch. Brighton based social media monitoring company.
Paul Stallard. Paul is a PR consultant at a technology PR agency, although this is his personal blog.
The Red Rocket. Philip Szomszor is a PR consultant and writes about technology, PR and social media marketing.
Andy Merchant. Andy is a social media consultant based in Brighton.

@litmanlive
Useful links, thanks. I am trying to get more freelance writing work in the UK (or USA for that matter – I recently moved back to the UK after 15 years away). No IT jobs to be seen so far, and in any case I would much prefer to work for myself as a writer.
Thanks for the mention.
